In 2012, Peter Wailua a 60-year-old kenyan pastor was sentenced to life behind bars for defiling and impregnating his 16 year-old daughter.
“My father made it a routine, and defiled me more than 20 times without protection until I got pregnant,” She told the court.
According to her, the first time he had carnal knowledge of her he approached her claiming “the Holy Spirit” had revealed to him that she was sleeping with unknown men and that he needed to confirm it.
2. Pastor who commanded his congregation to eat leaves
During a church service on a fateful Sunday, controversial South African Pastor Penuel Mnguni of the End Times Disciples Ministries, took his church activity on his members to a whole new level when he reportedly went to a Mango tree not far from the church and after praying, declared it to be KFC, Pizza and spaghetti. After the declaration, he commanded some of his members to eat from the mango leaves.
Three of his members upon eating the mango leaves, confirmed that what they ate was KFC, two said it was Pizza and the last one said that it was spaghetti.

The pictures of him stepping on his half clad church members were shared on the church’s Facebook page but were deleted after facing backlash from the general public.
4. Pastor who banned women from wearing underwears to his church
In 2014, a Kenyan pastor ‘Reverend Njohi’, made headlines worldwide when he banned all female members to stop wearing underwears to his church. His reasons was that they – underwear – were ungodly and that when in church people needed to be free in ‘ body ’ and ‘ spirit ’ to receive Christ.

Francis Taiwo, a Celestial Church of Christ pastor in ogun state Nigeria was arrested in July 2016 when a shriveled young boy aged 9 was found tied with rusted chains in his backyard.
Further investigation showed that the boy whose name was korede was the prophet’s son and that he had kept the 9 year old boy chained up for six months all in the name of deliverance.
He tried justifying his actions by saying that Korede steals and runs away from home and he thinks a possessive spirit is controlling the child and that he did what he did to help him.
