Mauritius’ success is credited to its ability to streamline it’s goods market, build solid infrastructure and promote a healthy workforce.
South Africa and Rwanda also did very well and have improved their global ranking since 2015. Their continued growth can be attributed to the uptake of technology, efficient financial markets and a focus on strengthening institutions.
Speaking of rankings, Mauritius South Africa and Rwanda were also ranked the 1st, 2nd and 6th most prosperous countries in Africa in the year 2017, respectively.
