Generally, rape is still thought to be a crime against women specifically (and historically was defined this way). But the sad truth is that its not, as a significant proportion of victims of rape or sexual violence in general are male.
Below are 7 sad tales of men that were gang raped by women
1. Raped in an Open Grassland
In 2005, a 30-year-old south-african man who was walking from his flat to an entertainment centre was approached by three women in a car, they wanted to know the direction to a hotel. After he gave them directions to the hotel they insisted he go with them to show them the way. Suspecting nothing, he got into the car with them.On arriving at the hotel the women invited him for a drink. After drinks and a chat, they asked him to show them where a particular Station Hotel was located. Still suspecting nothing he decided to take them to the hotel.
On the way to the hotel, the driver suddenly changed direction and drove to an open grassland where one of the women pulled out a gun and held up the man while the other two undressed. Then all three of them raped him in turns, with one of them keeping the gun pointed at him. When they were done with him they dropped him off on an express road. He walked home and contacted the police the next day.
Detectives from the police unit for family violence, child protection and sexual offences are still trying to trace the women.
2. Raped In The Parking Lot
In 2013, A 19-year-old Canadian was sexually assaulted by four women on his way home from a nightclub. Apparently The 19-year-old man met the four women at a nightclub, when he was about to leave the club the women offered to give him a drive home. But instead of doing just that, they took the man to a parking lot, and there they sexually assaulted him repeatedly in their Honda Suva.
3. Raped at Gunpoint
In 2005, a 25 year old american mother of two named Cierra Ross forced a 33 year old man man to have sex with her friend at gunpoint at the back seat of their car.
According to the victim, he was walking down the road when Miss Ross pulled up next to him and offered him a lift home. A short time later, she pulled a gun on him, ordering him to climb into the backseat and take off his clothes. Then she forced him at gunpoint to have sex with her friend. In the course of the encounter, the man was even instructed to fondle the woman’s breasts and buttocks to make it more ecstatic for her.
The man eventually got to escape from the car and contacted the police. She was caught days later.
4. Raped in a Catholic Cathedral
In 2009, an 18-year-old zimbabwean man was seized by three women outside a Shopping Centre and driven to a Catholic cathedral where they locked him in a room.
He was forced to have sex with one of his kidnappers repeatedly while the others watched and cheered him on.
Afterwards, the daring women phoned the wife of the man’s employer and told her that the victim was safe and they should not worry about his whereabouts.
The following morning the three women forced the young man into their vehicle and dumped him at the same Shopping Centre where they kidnapped him from. Though the man made a report at a Police Station. No arrests has been made till today.
5. Raped in a Toyota Raum Vehicle
A 29-year-old kenyan who was on his way home accepted a lift from two middle aged women driving a Toyota Raum vehicle, shortly after getting into the car, the driver of the car drove into a bushy area and that was when, the other woman brought out a snake and a gun, made him swallow a sexual enhancement pill and then both of them proceeded to rape him.
6. Raped In The Garage
A the 31-year-old unidentified south african man said that he was abducted by three women and repeatedly sexually assaulted over four days.
According to him, he was standing at the side of a road in order to get a lift. When the three women, who were traveling in a BMW, offered him a lift to his destination.On entering the car, they drove to a garage where they pulled a gun and blindfolded him. They got him aroused quickly by forcing him drink a substance from a bottle. The women then took turns repeatedly raping him.
After everything, they took his semen and stored it in a plastic bag. The man was found dumped under a bridge the following morning. Police are looking for the three women, but so far, no arrests have been made.
7. Raped In A Vehicle By The Roadside
A 25-year-old hitch-hiker, who was travelling to Gweru, a city in Zimbabwe accepted a lift from a group of women. But some minutes into the journey, one of the women produced a pistol as the car parked on the side of the road.
The women then forced him to drink a strange liquid which acted as a sex enhancement drug, then they all took turns to rape him.
When they were done with him, they dumped him on the road.
Following the alleged attack, the victim was unconscious until 10AM the next day when he made a report to the police.
No arrest has been made till this day.
