Seun Kuti Represents Nigeria in Grammy 2019: Full Nomination List

The list for Grammy 2019 is out, and as expected, Drake, Cardi B and Childish Gambino all scored big in the main fields. Drake got a nomination for Album, Record and Song of the Year for his double LP “Scorpion,” and the first of its No. 1 singles, “God’s Plan.”

Rapper Cardi B is also up for artiste of the year for her debut, “Invasion of Privacy,” her summer smash “I Like It” will face off for record of the year against Gambino’s politically charged “This Is America,” which is also deservedly up for song of the year.

Nigeria’s Seun Kuti was also nominated for a grammy alongside Soweto Gospel Choir in the Best World Music Album Category.

The Grammy will take place on February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles; and will air live on CBS.
