If 2018 was the best year for Davido, 2019 is proving to be an upgraded version of best as the Nigerian musician keeps earning several wins for himself and his career not only in his home country and continent, but in the world.

Davido Nominated for 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

The Fall and Assurance hitmaker took to Twitter to announce his nomination for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in the Favourite Global Music Star category alongside 4 other huge artists including Taylor Swift and Troy Sivan.

Davido Nominated for 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards

The nomination comes in just a few weeks after the 2018 BET Best International Act winner sold out the 02 Arena in the UK and a few days after he started his US promotional tour after earning a place on the top 40 urban radio charts.

But Davido is not the only star nominated in this year’s Kids’ Choice Awards as two other Nigerians join him. Nominated for favourite African star are actress Adesua Etomi and popular MC IK Osakioduwa. Joining the two in the same category are Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy and popular Kenyan music group Sauti Sol.

Several fans have since come out to show their support for their favourite African stars nominated in the international awards while many hope that Davido bags it this time as this is not the first time he has been nominated for the award.
