Davido’s ‘Fall’ has become the first Nigerian music video ever to amass a staggering 100 million views on Youtube.
The beautiful video, which is still amassing views as i type this, wrestled the title of most watched Nigerian music video on youtube from Yemi Alade’s Johnny late last month, and then went ahead to set a new record as the first Nigerian video ever (not just music video) to Amass a staggering 100million views.
The difference between Davido’s Fall and Yemi Alade’s Johnny video is’ while it took Yemi Alade’s ‘Johnny’ 4 years and 9 months to garner 98 Million views, it only took Davido’s ‘Fall’ a year and six months to amass up to a 100 million views.
Currently Davido’s Fall, also sits on the number 48 position on the US Billboard top 100 most played songs of 2018 under the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
